Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2008

Montecariano

Deep ruby red color with garnet reflections. Perfume: the maturity of red fruit, black cherry and morel joins the balmy sweetness and the majestic feeling of spices. Elegant finish of cocoa and coffee. Silky taste wraps with spices such as black pepper, cloves and cinnamon. Great elegance between acidity and tannins that joins more advanced hints such as cocoa and hazelnut.

The comment of our oenologist

A full Amarone with no hints of oxidatives, which so often the case with this type of wine; the expression of fruit – tannins are crisp and clear. A wine resulting from a long aging in wood, the wood that plays a perfect role – emphasizing all components without making them heavy. A fantastic wine, a great Amarone!
