Valtellina Superiore Riserva 2010

Dirupi

Ruby red tending to garnet, in the nose this wine reveals aromas of great breadth and elegance. Fine, ethereal, it is characterized by its slightly fruity notes, strawberry and cherry, with hints of purple raisins and spices. In the mouth dry, warm and with a great harmony. A wonderful wine, fresh and satisfying, with a bitterish, persistent finish.

The comment of our oenologist

Valtellina Superiore Riserva is an experience that one should try. So bare, yet so rich of sensations and strength at the same time; a contrast that enhances the emotions. A wine that can simply be drunk, but if one pays attention, its many shades can be seen. When evaluating it, one should not use the standards for red wines, but those of a great champagne rosè. Harmony and balance allow one to enjoy this wine today, but its longevity is significant and it develops a completeness of aromas that is out of this world.
