The comment of our oenologist

The Lambrusco Selezione Tasso is the more substantial of the company's products. Deep violet, spicy nose; it enters in the mouth with a particular density but then the tannin-acidity-flavor pattern grows. Especially tonic mouth, where the greatness of this wine is in its consistency, a wine developed with "grande maestria".

Fattoria Moretto is in the heart of the Lambrusco Grasparossa territory at an altitude of around 200 m above sea level, with south/south-east exposure. Clay-marly soils. The area has an exceptional ventilation that mitigates the summer heat and preserves the plants from deseases.
Grape variety
100% Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro

Cultivation Method
Spur cordon with productions of 80/90 q/ha. Production: 65%.
Vinification & Aging
Manual harvest. Grapes from biological agriculture. Fermented maceration at a controlled temperature for 6 to 8 days. Aging in steel to preserve the fruit.
Analytical Data
9.000 bottles. Alcohol: 11,5% vol.
Longevity
Can immediately be consumed, however if forgotten in the cellar the wine's taste grows ever more interesting.
