Description

Villa Montosoli is a cru, which comes from one vineyard, the vineyard of the same name on the top of the Montosoli hill at 350 meters above sea level and was planted about 40 years ago: 100% Sangiovese. A classic wine particularly in the expression, almost wild in the nose on the first impact, then the component of land and vine opens, there is sweetness of fruit, but an important wine bouquet. In the mouth it reflects the aromas, nervous, on a tannic particularly valuable for the density and fine-grained tannins, the acidity is low, but the effect is equally of freshness for the tannin clean-incisive. Lush large, in final mouth.

Description

Brunello di Montalcino is the company's top wine and is produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes. Since 1978, cultivated with extreme care and agronomic attention. After prolonged fermentation of the grapes on the skins, the wine matures for three years in Slavonian oak barrels of 30 hl. Afterwards, the wine ages at least for another six months in bottles before being released to the market. The wine is clear, with a ruby red color tending to a rather strong garnet. It has an intense perfume, persistent, characteristic and elegant, with hints of red fruit and light vanilla. The Brunello di Montalcino has a good structure taste with great tannins, an elegant and harmonic wine with a long aromatic persistence.

Description

In the mouth, the first sip may appear more obvious, less emotional and reduced to previous years, but there is density, also fruit and mineral freshness. A wine that will start revealing its real value only next winter, and the following years with the aging in the bottle. A challenge between density and mineral tannins in a perfect, unmistakable bouquet that only the Bolgheri Maremma can give. The stature of the wine should be appreciated in the definition and in the elegance of perfumes and in the power and simplicity of taste.
