Moscato d'Asti 2017

La Morandina

Light yellow color with different reflections, in the end perlage. Fragrant and fresh with hints of orange flowers, lychee, gardenia, and herbs like lemon balm. Sensations that are similar to the perfume, light sparkling with slight acidity. Fresh flavourful, with a mentholated and salvia backtaste. Real taste of grape juice.

The comment of our oenologist

La Morandina, Moscato d'Asti. A fantastic wine that is almost unknown to the public. A special product. Here we start with a great work in the vineyard and we finish elegantly with the vinification-aging process. Moscato is a desert wine that must be served chilled, at 6/8°C in a tight glass that concentrates its rich fruit. Dynamic mouth, there is a balance between a low alcoholic volume, the carbon dioxide created by the fermentation with charmat method and acidity to make the wine slender. This wine has a tonic end due to the aromas of the moscato that tend to have a drying effect in the closure. There is no comparable wine in its genre.
